| Below are some ideas for fun, unique
baby shower themes based on showers I've attended (or had thrown
for me) that were a hit. |
- Knitting: Have an expert come teach your
guests the basics of knitting and have each person make
a little something for the baby.
- Scrapbooking: Have your guests get in
groups of two or three and work together to create a page
for the baby's first scrapbook, e.g. one group does a Thanksgiving
page, another does a Christmas page, etc.
- Custom Onesies: Have your guests get
together in groups and use fabric paints and iron-on decorations
to design custom onesies for the new baby.
- Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring Potluck: I
wanted to celebrate the impending arrival of my second baby
but didn't need any new gifts. So I put together a casual
party to celebrate the arrival of summer and the new baby
and just asked people to bring dishes for the potluck in
lieu of gifts. It was a great time.
