Info about pregnancy and babies from one mom to another

Some pregnant women prepare for the arrival of their babies by decorating nurseries and knitting booties. When I was pregnant with my first child I had no nursery to decorate and would undoubtedly injure myself with knitting needles, so I read and research. A lot. If I wasn't reading a book about pregnancy or children I’m emailing friends with kids to ask them about their experiences and suggestions or clicking around on countless pregnancy and parenting message boards.

One of the upsides of this borderline obessive-compulsive researching streak of mine is that I was able to help my other friends who were pregnant find just the right books to read and products to use. More and more friend and friends of friends started coming to me and asking me for recommendations, so I decided to just put all the info online to make it easy. A couple of versions later, BTDTmom.com was born.

Who is this site for?

This site is primarity for pregnant women or new moms who, like me a couple years ago, don't know the first thing about babies and aren't even sure where to start in terms of creating a registry, finding a couple good books to read, etc.
